Spent a day with Mark learning to run the lake and learn how fish set up on some of the ledges. Mark is very knowledgeable and willing to help all from beginners to seasoned anglers. It is like fishing with a friend you have known forever. If you want to have a relaxing and good time get with him!

Mark is a great guy all around and a great fishing guide. He genuinely wants to make sure you have a good trip and catch quality fish. Had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with Mark this morning. What a great fisherman and even better guy! I booked a trip with him to learn the lake better and to learn new/better ways to fish for bass and set up on spots. Mark is a great guide and a great person! After we met up with him at the boat ramp and told him what our objectives were for the fishing trip said “ok let’s go catch some fish”. He helped us learn new techniques for the time of year we were fishing and explained why he used the techniques. The conditions were not great but Mark worked his tail off to insure we had the best possible outcome. The outcome was that we learned several new techniques on how to catch bass and made a relationship with fishing guide that is willing to help/teach his clients secede to the best of his abilities.

I’ve been out with Mark a couple of times on Weiss Lake. He always puts you on the fish. He helped me learn how to fish the lake better. He has a ton of fishing knowledge and willing to help you become a better fisherman.

I have been out with Mark several times and we always caught a lot fish. However,the greatest thing about Mark is that you can tell him what you want to LEARN to do and he caters the trip to teach you the techniques you want to learn. He is an excellent teacher as well as fisherman. He is also great with “family trips”. My wife accompanied me on one of the trips and we both had a great time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

fished with Mark on June 5th from 1 to 7pm so a mid day trip. we caught over 50 fish and had a blast. he taught me things I didn’t know. taught me a great not for tying floral carbon to braid. I learned a few spots to fish also. we hit it off from the great in the parking lot and just grew all day. I’m glad to have met him and call him a friend.



Mark was a great Guide and full of information. You had a question he would answer it and show you how to do it. I have never been fond of brain and floral carbon. Well after Monday and fishing with Mark I’m now a true believer. Thanks again. Mark your a great Guide. 

I have been out with many guides over the years on a number of lakes and all have been good, but I definitely had my best experience with Mark. From the beginning, he asked me what I wanted out of the trip. I told him my goal was to better understand lake Weiss, build confidence in offshore fishing, and better understand how to use my electronics. Mark checked all of those boxes in a big way. As a result I am much more confident with these techniques. As a bonus, because I do enjoy shallow fishing, Mark showed me some great shallow areas to fish. Mark is a true professional who not only knows his craft and lake Weiss, but more importantly genuinely cares about his customer and will ensure that you get what you came for and have a good time. This guy is the fire!! I expected to catch a few fish, but when you catch 35 fish in 4 hours, that is a good day. Mark is the real deal and can put you on the fish anytime of the day. I met mark at the ramp at 2:00pm and by 2:30pm I had already caught 7 good fish. Trip of a lifetime and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a awesome fishing experience on Weiss Lake! Have been wanting to learn how to find & catch fish on Weiss. Spent a great afternoon/evening with Mark & couldn’t be more pleased with our outing. Mark is professional, knowledgeable, & fun to be with. Learned new spots, how to better fish familiar locations, & how to broaden my presentations. Nice Phoenix rig, good electronics, & excellent equipment. Looking forward to our next trip in November. Highly recommend that you give him an opportunity to put you on fish. I have always struggled to catch fish on Weiss. I ran across a special Mark was offering and couldn’t pass it up. I reached out to Mark and he promptly responded and we planned our trip. With the lake rising from the last few days of rain I was worried that the trip was going to be a bust. Mark assured me it would be productive. He quickly put us on the fish and we boated approximately 20. Mark taught us how to fish points and ledges and and deeper structure that we just weren’t use too. hats off to this guy. Mark has a very nice boat with quality electronics. his rod and reel setups were top notch as well. What a joy to be on the water with this guy. we had a blast.

Had an opportunity to get out on the water with Mark a while back. He’s a super nice guy with a lot of knowledge. Everything was top notch. I will definitely go again and recommend him to anyone wanting to learn more about bass fishing or just catch fish.

One of the best guided trips I have ever been on. Mark taught my son and I some new techniques. Targeting several different types of structure and species of bass. Mark was top notch and super helpful. Always made sure we were having fun while teaching us at the same time. It is hard to keep a child’s attention for several hours fishing, but Mark had no trouble doing this! Thank you!!

If you want to learn a lot and have a blast catching fish, this is who you want to book a trip with. Great, down to earth guy with more knowledge than you can imagine. Non stop action at all the spots we fished, and couldn’t even count the number we boated. We went as a “guys trip” to learn the lake more and have fun, and that’s exactly what we got. One of the best bass fisherman I know.. not only is he a guide he is also I tournament fisherman. So you’ll get to catch fish have a good time and learn some of the in’s and out’s of tournament fishing.. I struggled when it came to fishing out deep and graph reading,but I learn allot from him and can catch a few out deep on my own now.
